It’s the start of the Spring Break. COVID-19 cases have gotten a lot more stabilized for the vaccinated people. Even though more and more are getting vaccinated, we still have to take all the necessary precautions for all the activities so that we protect others as well as ourselves.

Beautiful sunny weather always brightens up your day. The months of April and May are just perfect with the glow and fragrance all around us. Nature is covered with multi-colored wildflowers and fresh green leaves. There are many well-known flower fields around the world that bloom around this time of the year. Even our little backyard seems to have woken up and dressed with daffodils, tulips, and roses. It has been a yearly tradition in my family to check out the spring flower fields.

A trip to the tulip fields in April is a breath of fresh air. Skagit Valley is a beautiful place to visit and is spectacular in the spring in the month of April. There are three tulips fields in this area, all are beautiful in their own special ways. We visited the tulip field Roozengarde and Tuliptown last weekend. There are rows and rows of gorgeous colorful tulips and white and golden daffodils which look absolutely stunning. You can see Red, purple, yellow, orange, and mixed shades of tulips and Daffodils as far as your eyes go. This place is a photographer’s delight. The fields are quite large and you could spend some time here taking pictures at different angles, with the mountain backdrop, the different rainbow colors, and close-ups of different flowers. make sure you don’t step on the plants. There is a windmill surrounded by Tulips for a perfect picture prop. Parking is usually available and the grounds are walkable for most everyone. There are many employees helping in parking and giving walkway directions. Try to go early morning as the crowd tends to increase in the evening. They also offer a trolley ride and a selection of food options and homemade gifts.
